For example, the messages may ask you to make a payment to activate your policy, remind you of an upcoming payment due date, or confirm a payment. You will only receive Gerber Life Policy Alerts if you have opted in to the reoccurring text message program.
Sign up for Gerber Life Policy Alerts when you apply for insurance products on our website or by phone. Existing policyholders can call 1-800-704-2180. By signing up, you will receive up to 7 Gerber Life Policy Alerts per month. Gerber Life Policy Alerts are not mobile spam. The service is a recurring message program.
Although all Gerber Life Policy Alerts are complimentary, Message & Data Rates May Apply. Depending on your text plan, you may be charged by your carrier for each message you send and receive.
To stop receiving all Gerber Life Policy Alert messages, simply text STOP to the short code 694542. You will receive a final confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent to your mobile phone.
