What kind of insurance does the Grow-Up® Plan provide?
The Grow-Up® Plan is a whole life insurance policy for a child that builds cash value. You are the policy owner until your child reaches age 21. At that time, he or she becomes the policy owner.
Is my child required to buy additional life insurance?
No. Your child’s whole life insurance continues as long as premiums are paid. As an adult, your child is guaranteed the option to buy additional life insurance protection at our standard age-based rates.
Can Gerber Life cancel my child’s Grow-Up® Plan coverage?
Once coverage begins, and as long as the premiums are paid, Gerber Life cannot cancel the Grow-Up® Plan for any reason. Only you (or your child at age 21) can cancel coverage.
We understand you want to give your child every advantage. The Grow-Up® Plan is a simple, budget-minded way to start for children ages 14 days to 14 years. For as little as $1 a week, you can give your child a lifetime of life insurance protection with plans starting at $5,000. Your decision today will help your child be better equipped for adult responsibilities tomorrow.
